2007 AHA Volunteer
of the Year
Richard Ahlin
During the National Convention in Tulsa in November, Region IV
Director Mary Jane Brown submitted her nomination for Region IV Volunteer of the
Year.
At the Region IV meeting on Saturday, March 22, Mary Jane presented Dick Ahlin
with his certificate and volunteer pin. He was nominated for his volunteer work
within the region which includes President of RVAHA, Chairman for the Region IV
Nomination Committee, and member of the Region IV Futurity Committee.
Dick also volunteers his time during the regional show which he and Punky go to
Salem a week ahead of the start of the show to prepare Patron lounge & booths,
prep all the Patron meals provided at the show, and help out all they can during
the show as well as showing their own horses.
Great job, Dick!
